Are you interested in a career in nursing but want to be sure it’s right for you? Spend a day with students at Methodist College and experience what it’s like to be on the path to a nursing careers. The Nurse in Action program is held on select days during the academic year from 9am-12pm. You must register to participate. Spaces are limited to five students per day. This event is open to the public and allows prospective students to see first-hand what our Career and Technical programs are like by participating in mini hands-on workshops lead by faculty. The workshops feature Heartland’s CTE programs such as Business, Technology, Computer Networking, Early Childhood, Radiography, Industrial Technology, etc. Prospective students will also meet faculty and current students, talk with advisors and financial aid, and be able to tour labs.
The counselors handed back ASPIRE scores to the freshmen on January 23. Attached is a document to help further understand the scores.
