USA Funds Access to Education Scholarships awards renewable scholarships to students with financial need. Applicants can be those planning on full-time or part-time college attendance, and who have an annual adjusted gross family income of $35,000 or less. Awards range from $750 to $1500 annually. AES Engineering-belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason we are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by evaluating the essays that are submitted. The Acorn Fund Scholarship is designed to provide academic financial support for gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender students or the children of gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender parents.
