The U-High girls basketball team defeated Jacksonville 45-17 on Monday at Jacksonville. The lead scorer was Logan Murray with 12 points. Addy Loeffler had nine points and Kassidy Patton had six points and led in rebounds with 13. The team will host Decatur MacArthur on Wednesday. Congratulations and good luck ladies!

The Pioneer Speech Team split up this weekend for the final tournaments of the regular season and found success at the Downers Grove South Tournament and the Eureka High School Tournament! Tournament Champions included Nick King in Varsity Impromptu Speaking and Junior Varsity Original Oratory at Eureka. The squad at Eureka High School took third place, and the team at Downers Grove South earned tenth place as a team. Congratulations, Pioneers! Full results are listed below.

Congratulations to the boys basketball team on their 57-40 victory over Jacksonville on Friday. Trey Mortimer led in scoring with 14 points. Doug Holmes was right behind him with 11 points. Way to go guys!

The U-High boys swim and dive team beat Sacred Heart-Griffin 101-63 in their meet on Thursday at Horton Pool. U-High dominated the meet, capturing first place finishes in 12 events! Here are the first place winners: 200 yard medley relay team of Andy Ritsema, Harrison Fudge, Anthony Williamson and Kalen Nepomuceno; Josh Nepomuceno in the 200 freestyle; Andy Ritsema in the 200 IM; Anthony Williamson in the 50 freestyle; Tom Stamets in diving; Harrison Fudge in the 100 butterfly; Anthony Williamson in the 100 freestyle; Josh Nepomuceno in the 500 freestyle; the 200 freestyle relay team of Kalen Nepomuceno, Andy Ritsema, Jake Harrison and Josh Nepomuceno; Harrison Fudge in the 100 backstroke; Kalen Nepomuceno in the 100 breaststroke; and the 400 freestyle relay team of Anthony Williamson, Harrison Fudge, Josh Nepomuceno and Jake Harrison.
