Boosters

Behind every great school is an active Boosters group that works to help our kids have an amazing experience and our teachers feel appreciated. At U-High, we have numerous parents working on committees to raise funds, spirits, and awareness for our school. We welcome you to join us!

Meetings are held monthly during the school year in the U-High Library. An email will be sent out prior to the meeting to all parents and notification will be placed on the Booster Facebook page. Connect with us for recent news and information!

Whether you come to meetings to learn the latest news, or want to get involved with one the wonderful committees, we are glad to have you as a part of our great network of involved parents. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Fundraising

Fundraising is a key part of what the U-High Boosters do—check out current opportunities and how to get your ideas approved.

Hospitality and Chaperones

The Hospitality Committee plays a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere at key school events. This includes providing support during events such as the General Open House, Prospective Student Open House in February, and Freshman Testing in April. Additionally, parent chaperones ensure the success and safety of school dances like Homecoming, Black Light, and Prom.

Parent Support Network

The Parent Support Network connects U-High families with mental health resources and support strategies to help teens thrive.

Recognition for Students, Faculty, and Staff

Good for U Award

The purpose of the Good for U Award is to recognize students that have not been previously celebrated at U-High or may not normally be recognized for their accomplishments at U-High or in surrounding communities.

Submit a nomination

A student or group may only be recognized once a school year. Anyone can submit a nomination. Up to 2 students or 1 group of students may be recognized at Booster meeting October through May. The nominations must be turned in prior to the Booster meeting and have administration approval.
